New CDS6250C x 1500 LatheThe CDS6250C 500 x 1500 is a robust medium‑size gap‑bed lathe designed for heavy turning and threading of shafts, flanges and large components, helped by its 500 mm swing and 105 mm spindle bore. The removable gap and 1500 mm between centres give excellent flexibility, from long shaft work to large faceplate jobs.
With a hardened bed, 7.5 kW motor, 16‑speed geared head and comprehensive threading/feeds gearbox, it suits maintenance, general engineering and production environments where strong roughing cuts and good surface finish are required. The generous bore and standard steadies make it particularly attractive for heavy pipe and bar work. Swing over bed: 500 mm. Swing over cross slide / saddle: approx. 290–325 mm.
